Zhang Wanxu is a professor and master tutor of Northwest University, a director of Shaanxi Electronics Society and a director of Shaanxi Automation Society.
His main research interests are intelligent control and test systems, and intelligent image processing algorithms. He presided over 1 provincial and ministerial level research project and participated in 3 national/provincial level projects; he presided over 10 military research projects and participated in 5 military engineering projects; he published a total of 32 papers as the first or corresponding author, including 4 SCI retrieved, 12 EI/CPCI-S retrieved and 16 core journals; he has 1 national authorized invention patent.
He supervised 8 undergraduate courses and 76 undergraduate graduation designs, 2 postgraduate courses and 68 postgraduate students; he presided over 1 industry-university research project of the Ministry of Education, and participated in 4 provincial/ministry/university education reform projects.
His HC56--I/HC54FS--II products won the Silver Award of Provincial and National Excellence; he won the First Prize of Teaching Achievement of Shaanxi Province (ranked 5th); he was awarded the title of "Excellent Teacher" of Northwest University in three teaching years.
